This is where it all began — my first ever high-altitude trek. Hampta Pass (4,270m) is a stunning crossover trek through the Himalayas that takes you from the lush green Kullu Valley to the stark, alien landscapes of the Lahaul and Spiti valleys. In Part 1, join me through the gorgeous alpine meadows from Jobra to Jwara — scrambling over boulder sections beside roaring waterfalls, crossing the icy Rani River, and reaching the Chika campsite at 11,194 ft. Every step was pure magic. šŸ“ Hampta Pass, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, India šŸ“… August 2019 šŸŽ„ Shot on GoPro Hero 7 Black šŸ™ Thanks to Indiahikes: https://indiahikes.com Read more: https://wanderingbong.com/blog/the-monsoon-diaries-walking-the-cloud-line-at-hampta-pass #HamtaPass #HimachalPradesh #Trekking #Himalayas #IndiaHikes #AlpineMeadows #WanderingBong #FirstTrek #GoPro #AdventureIndia
